Solar Water Pump Solutions

The Solar Water Pump solution comprises of the following :
A) Solar PV Array :
This includes a set of Solar PV panels connected in a combination of series and parallel to achieve maximum efficiency and also to match the inverter specifications. The power rating of the solar PV array will be suitable to the design of the pump.
Specifically for Solar Water Pump solution, it has been determined that Mono-PERC panels are not suitable due to voltage and current mismatch with respect to the VFD specs. For this reason, polycrystalline modules are found to be more suitable for this application.

b) Mounting Structure
As discussed, the panels will be mounted on the mounting structure which might be set up on the ground or rooftop depending upon the customer requirements. Additional mounting structure accessories required if any such as pipes, nuts, bolts etc. will be provided by Solcore.
c) Solar Pump Controller (Inverter)
This will be a transformer-less inverter with 415 VAC, 3-Phase output voltage and V/F control to manage pump starting condition such as soft-start. This will be micro controller based and with software to handle digital control of inverter parameters, fault finding diagnostics and I/O signaling.
d) Inbuilt MPPT Controller
The MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) controller regulates the output frequency according to the irradiance in real time to achieve maximum power. Adapting this MPPT method provides for stable operation and faster response.
