Off Grid Solar Rooftop / Ground-Mount Solutions

An “off-grid solar power system” is a standalone electricity system that generates and stores power without being connected to the public utility grid. It is designed to work like a UPS system supporting running of most of the electrical load of the house or building such as lights, fan, kitchen utilities, AC and sometimes lift also depending upon the capacity of the system.

Main components of an off-grid system

The major role is to convert DC power into AC power with highest efficiency. Modern day inverters are intelligent and ensure the solar modules are operated at the maximum power point (MPPT).

The Off Grid Inverter consists of in-built MPPT charge controller and bi-directional inverter to supply continuous power to the dedicated load with support to the load coming in this order:

These inverters have the capabilities to :

Off-Grid Solar Power systems are very convenient in remote areas such as villages / mountainous areas where grid supply is not available or has frequent power-outages.

Battery Bank :

The battery bank is the heart of an off-grid solar system, since it stores the energy for use when the sun isn’t shining.

Two types of Battery options are available :

C10 Battery (Lead-Acid Deep Cycle, C10 Rating)

C10 are the most commonly used batteries for off-grid solar systems

LiFePO₄ Battery (Lithium Iron Phosphate)

LiFePO4 – Lithium Fero Phosphite Battery
LiFePO4 – Lithium Fero Phosphite Battery bank

Solcore Offerings

Solcore offers Off-Grid systems suitable for small-to-medium homes or industrial/commercial customers. Most of the small-medium houses deploy 3-5 KW off-grid systems. Larger systems (10 KW to 100 KW systems with 3-phase Output) can be designed and offered to specific needs.

5 KW – HSR Layout

2 KW – BSK 6th STage
